Rumours is a riotously funny farce where eight dinner party guests face a nightmare.
Their host, Charley, has a bullet wound to his earlobe, but he is too dazed to explain how he got it!
Charley is a prominent government official so a scandal is to be avoided at all costs.
The guests themselves have too many personal problems to contend with, on top of which, some of them have been involved in a car crash.
Then there is a second gunshot and the police arrive, asking difficult questions  . . . . . . . . .
