Dean Friedman : 40th Anniversary ‘Well, well’; said the Rocking Chair’ UK Tour

Dean Friedman 40th Anniversary UK Tour

Dean Friedman first delighted UK audiences with his chart-topping hit, Lucky Stars.

The now classic single, paved the way for a slew of hits from Friedman’scritically acclaimed album, “Well, Well, Said the Rocking Chair”, including  Lydia, Rocking Chair, Woman of Mine and Ariel.  In a very short time, Friedman had achieved legendary, pop-icon status.

2018 marks the 40th Anniversary of Friedman’s classic, debut album and to celebrate this milestone occasion, Dean is touring a live show of his album, together with other favourite songs from his amazing four decade career.

Dean has earned a loyal, international following with his insightful and compelling, true-to-life ‘story songs’.  Songs including Saturday Fathers, Jennifer’s Baby, Under the Weather and It’s My Job, have prompted enthusiastic audiences to proclaim his songs ‘the soundtrack to their lives’, dealing, as they do, with family, friends, neighbours, work and the seemingly trivial, yet all are ultimately compelling and testimony to the art of a master songsmith.

His songs with their catchy tunes and clever, witty lyrics are, in turns, intelligent, perceptive. humorous and poignant. He is recognised, by critics and fans alike, as one of the finest songwriters of his generation.

Join Dean for a memorable evening of songs and stories about the ordinary and extraordinary lives we all share, performed by this gifted and likeable singer-songwriter.
