Kiri Pritchard-McLean : ‘Peacock’

Kiri Pritchard-McCleanLittle Wander in association with PBJ presents Kiri Pritchard-McLean : “Peacock”

Star of 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Have I Got News For You and QI Kiri Pritchard-McLean has had a busy few years. As well as hosting Live at the Apollo, fronting the Radio 4 panel show Best Medicine and starting a comedy school, she’s become a foster parent.

Didn’t know that about her?
Well, until now she hasn’t been able to talk about it on stage, she hasn’t even told the kids in her care that she’s a comedian. Oh, and she uses a different name – she’s the Bruce Wayne of comedy but without the mansions.

However, this year something changed and after a couple of the eggiest gigs of her career in boardrooms to social workers a show about becoming a foster carer has been signed off! So, come and join “Louise” as she lifts the lid on social workers, first aid training and what not to do when a vicar searches for you on YouTube.

Join the co-creator and co-host of cult hit podcast All Killa No Filla for a joyous and uplifting show from a comedian known for making “powerhouse stand-up from the thorniest of subjects” (The Guardian).

MIKE WOZNIAK: ZUSA

WEDS 21st & THURS 22nd FEBRUARY, 2024 – 7.30pm

Little Wander in association with PBJ Management present…

Mike Wozniak: Zusa

Ever wondered how Mike’s Great-Aunt Zusa made it from Poland to Luton with a war nipping at her heels?

Here’s your chance to find out!

As seen on Man Down (Channel 4) and Would I Lie To You? (BBC One). As heard on Small Scenes (BBC Radio 4), the St Elwick’s Neighbourhood Association Newsletter podcast and the Three Bean Salad podcast.

In 2021, Mike charmed the nation with his appearance on the 11th series of Taskmaster on Channel 4. He then went on to guest on Sky’s revamp of Never Mind The Buzzcocks, and was the weekly winner on Richard Osman’s House of Games.

…inspired brilliance… at its best Zusa resembles an episode of Who Do You Think You Are? crossed with Spike Milligan’s military memoirs… deliciously distinctive fun.”   The Standard

‘Owdyado Theatre’s TWISTED CHRISTMAS!

(8 NEW TALES FOR 2023!)

Nasty but nicely comic entertainment…

“In ‘Owdyado’s twisted world nothing is ever what it seems.”

Lyn Gardner

Owdyado Theatre’s Twisted Christmas returns to the South-West this year, telling new tales, with its deliciously depraved take on the holiday season.

Featuring writers from Cornwall and across the UK, this selection of 8 original micro-plays includes tales of how to buy the perfect gift for your unloved ones, the dark side of Christmas cracker jokes, and why you should never turn your back on a pantomime dame.

Influenced by cult classics such as Inside No.9, The Twilight Zone and Roald Dahl’s Tales of the Unexpected, Twisted Christmas promises a darkly comic evening of macabre mini plays all with a festive flavour!

Watch the Twisted Tales trailer here (if you dare…!)

Twisted Tales is presented by Cornish touring company ‘Owdyado Theatre. They are well-known amongst their fans for their unique style of slick, detailed and comedic work. Life is a stress: full of rushed breakfasts, angry people, internal conflict, and Jacob Rees-Mogg.
But what happens when everything you thought was important – your problems, grievances against others, your very identity – simply disappears?

Multi-award-winning and trail-blazing comedian, Paul Foot, is back on tour with Dissolve, his most personal, surprising and ground-breaking show ever.

In the year 2022 AD something momentous changed for Paul, and in this show he will reveal how he discovered the secret of life on the outskirts of Lancaster.*

Inevitably, along the way, Paul does get distracted by King Tutankhamun, the House of Lords, Sir Cliff Richard, officious lollipop ladies and what Jesus might have achieved if he’d been a plumber.
