Defending Ankh-Morpork against this threat is the entire, underpaid, undervalued City Night Watch – a drunken and world-weary Captain, a cowardly Sergeant, a small opportunistic Corporal of dubious parentage…and their newest recruit, Lance Constable Carrot.
