    Remi Harris is one of the UK's most exciting and talented guitarists.  His unique style draws inspiration from Gypsy Swing, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Electronic and World Music. 

    Remi has performed at Montreal Jazz FestivalBuckingham PalaceBBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall with Jamie Cullum, on BBC 4 Television and live on BBC Radio 2 & 3 and now makes a very welcome return to the St Austell Arts Centre.

    Light & Shade is Remi’s most diverse and eclectic show to date. It features music ranging from the acoustic jazz, swing and gypsy jazz of the 30s and 40s to the psychedelic rock and blues of the 60s and 70s. Featuring Remi on a variety of acoustic guitars, electric guitars and a ukulele; accompanied by double and electric bass, drum kit and percussion.

    In his live shows, Remi plays an eclectic mix of original compositions, improvisations, jazz standards and new arrangements of music often including Django Reinhardt, Jimi Hendrix, Wes Montgomery, Charlie Parker, Peter Green and many more. He skill and dexterity allows him to play a variety of acoustic and electric guitars 

    Remi was named after the 2nd and 3rd notes of the major scale, Doh, “Re Mi” Fah, Soh, Lah, Tih, Doh.
    In this show at the Arts Centre, Remi will be joined by Tom Moore - Double & Electric Bass and Shane Dixon – Drums. 

    Together, they will create a sublime evening of quality music, guaranteed to linger in the memory.
