“The Big Yellow Tambourine Man “Band, A Tribute to Bob Dylan & Joni Mitchell

Yellow Tambourine Band

A Tribute to Bob Dylan & Joni Mitchell : A Passionate Tribute to Two Musical Legends!

Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan are both ranked in Rolling Stone’s ‘Top Ten Singer-Songwriters of All Time’ and their legacy is honoured in this stunning tribute, ‘The Big Yellow Tambourine Man Band’.

With unrivalled musical authenticity this multi-instrumentalist five-piece covers all the hits including ‘Like a Rolling Stone’, ‘Both Sides Now’, ‘Blowin’ in the Wind’, ‘Big Yellow Taxi’, fronted by Isabelle Nutton and Bob Thomson as Joni and Bob.

It’s an exhilarating evening of songwriting genius, expertly presented with passion and humour.
Audiences will be taken on a journey through Joni’s and Bob’s histories, poetry and artistry, their trademark guitars and pianos backed by a full band and augmented with the evocative sounds of the Wurlitzer, harmonica and dulcimer.

There will be nostalgic stops along the way in Greenwich Village, Laurel Canyon, the Isle of Wight and beyond. A ‘trip’ your theatre’s audience will NOT want to miss, especially as early 2025 sees the release of James Mangold’s new Bob Dylan biopic ‘A Complete Unknown’, starring Timothée Chalamet.

Mark Radcliffe & David Boardman: An Evening of Music, Mirth, and Mayhem

Prepare for a night of exceptional entertainment as Mark Radcliffe and David Boardman take the stage, bringing their unique blend of music, storytelling, and humour to our theatre.

Mark Radcliffe is a man of many talents—broadcaster, writer, and musician—whose voice has graced BBC National Radio since the early ’90s.
Currently, he hosts the Radio 2 Folk Show and weekend breakfast on BBC 6Music. Beyond the airwaves, Mark has authored five bestselling books, including Crossroads – In Search Of The Moments That Changed Music.
His musical ventures are as diverse as his broadcasting career, having been a member of folk-rock bands The Family Mahone and Galleon Blast. He is also one half of the electronic duo UNE and serves as drummer and lyricist for the Americana band Fine Lines.

David Boardman is a seasoned singer-songwriter and consummate guitarist.
He cut his teeth on the rock circuit with Darktown Jubilee, touring the UK, North America, and Canada.
A gifted visual artist, David met Mark in their hometown of Knutsford, where their writing partnership soon paid dividends.

Together, Mark and David offer an act of classic simplicity: two voices, two guitars, original songs, carefully chosen covers, and the occasional rambling anecdote. It might not sound like much, but they seem to be getting away with it… so far.

Don’t miss this opportunity to experience an evening filled with music, laughter, and the undeniable chemistry between two of Cheshire’s finest talents.
